INVESTORS ARE OFFERED TO BUILD A PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FISH FEED ON VOLOGODCHIN

Entrepreneurs of Vologda region are offered to occupy a free niche in the field of aquaculture - to build a plant for the production of fish feed. The country now produces on average half as much feed as is required.
According to statistics, domestic enterprises produce about 110,000 tons of feed per year. At the same time, the need is more than 200,000 tons of feed per year. Fish producers have to buy it abroad.

Aquaculture is a priority in Russia, so the state provides significant support measures, both federal and regional. Thus, the investor, who has started a plant for the production of fish feed in Vologda region, will receive regional tax benefits, federal and regional measures to support small and medium-sized enterprises, free support of the project by specialists of the Investment Agency of the region.

"The Vologda region provides a number of measures to support aquaculture enterprises. These are subsidies to reimburse 50% of the cost of purchasing equipment in the fish industry, to reimburse 20% of the cost of producing commercial fish and the same amount for the purchase of fish-planting material. Also, the region will reimburse 20% of the costs in the construction, reconstruction, modernization of fish growing facilities and the production of fish products. There is also a subsidy for the reimbursement of half of the cost of paying the insurance premium in the field of livestock," explained Svetlana Yeroshchenko, head of the Vologda Region Investment Agency.

The sites for the construction of the plant have already been selected. The investment project can be launched in Vologda, Sokol, Chagod, Kaduy, Vologda district.
